Dr. Fliney completed medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society prior to spending his ophthalmology residency at Yale University where he earned an academic achievement award.
Dr. Fliney is a skilled surgeon specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma care–offering the latest technology in cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures. He also offers cosmetic care including eyelid (blepharoplasty) and eyebrow (brow lift) procedures.

Doctor Fliney could not be nicer taliking with you about your health issues. His staf is really nice to be around they really put you at ease.
I havent had my surgery yet, but loved meeting him and sppreciate his explanations!
Diane, JD and Dr Fliney were very easy to deal with. Very nice and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable.
Very personable. Seems very smart and up to date on treatments and so forth. Too many old doctors just do it the same old way. Sorry to say that but I like that he's young and smart and congenial. Great bedside manner. I think he would have sat there as long as I wanted an answered every single question had I had more. He's a keeper.
Dr Fliney was so through and explained everything to me regarding my new medication Hydroxochlorquine 200mg tab every morning. Will monitor retinol toxicity in 6 months. Will call me in 4 months, February 2026, for next appointment.
