The most intelligent caring doctor I have ever seen. I’m 67 years old and I have been with him for a while. This is why I can say these things about him. You can tell him anything what’s going on with you and he takes care of it right then he will be my doctor to the end

Dr. Esslinger found the need to create a professional boundary because I was 8 minutes late to two appointments two months apart. Boundaries are good in life and work. The boundary of saying if I am not early next time I won't get teeated next time may be within his professional rights to do.
However, I believe he treated me in belittling ways, using shaming language, and an inaccurate/untrue statement claiming previous communication.
From my perspective, he communicated like an irritated authority to a repeatedly insubordinate underling rather than a respected adult professional who needs information.
I do hope he receives some training in respect and helpful postures when boundaries need to be communicated.
I have to draw boundaries in my profession regarding payment and schedules all the time - and I see the way he approached me as a way to never treat a person.
I have appreciated his OMT treatments through the years, and find this posturing to be sad.
