Dr. Gregory Bourgeois, M.D. was born and raised in South Louisiana where he graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University in Biological Sciences. He obtained his MD from UAB School of Medicine. After completing an Internship in Internal Medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, he returned home for his Dermatology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where he served as Chief Resident. During residency, he was awarded an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery preceptorship to perform concentrated study in laser and cosmetic dermatology under renowned surgical dermatologists in Boston.
He has had research published in many prestigious dermatology journals and has presented dermatologic research at numerous academic meetings. Dr. Bourgeois is trained in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with special interest in using lasers to treat a variety of skin conditions. He and his wife have five children.
