Suffering w severe pain in my knee, I called and got an appointment the next day. It was determined I needed a shot in the knee, and Mr Scruggs went to work. He is an expert- it was painless, and my knee is much better! Thank you Carrollton Orthopedic!

Not the best news from my MRI results, but the results were explained thoroughly in a way I could easily understand so I could make a truly informed decision. A lot of doctors don’t do that and you leave the office more confused and concerned than before you went in. I’ve never felt like that with Dr. Slappey or his NP. They answer ALL your questions.

I really dealt with PA Scruggs in my visit and I think Dr Slappey dropped in just as I was about to leave. Since, PA Scruggs wasn’t clear in his introduction and I did not know what either he or Dr Slappey look like, I was unaware. I wish the staff would just schedule the appointment with the PA upfront vice stating we are scheduled to see Dr Slappey or one of the other Physicians and we never actually have an interaction with them.

Can’t rate him because I haven’t seen him at all. Although I waited longer to see him and end up reviewing all results with PA.

This was my first visit. Dr. Slappey seemed to have a genuine concern for my issue.

I'm Trying to decide when to get my knees fixed, Dr Slappey very helpful with explaining the process, and what to expect.

There was a mix-up with the appt, but the office quickly made arrangements and saw us. They changed the number the reminder texts come through so something similar won’t happen again. Everyone treated us kindly, even though they were working us in.

Always get great attention and good explanations on health. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nurses are great too.

I never seen him. I paid 300 to see a pa when I asked if I was seeing slappey I was told yes not only did I not see him the pa never called my medicine in. Horrible experience

He is a super hero to me after replacing both of my knees . He was my 3rd surgeon the first 2 refused to do them. I have been given the opportunity to change my life due to his expertise. I am beyond grateful and had zero complications and pain was minimal. I was hearing how awful it was going to be from others and I never for a second regretted getting either knee done.

Dr. Slappey talked to me about my arm pain and explained it so I could really understand. He is great Orthopaedic doctor and surgeon. The injection I got in my shoulder did not even hurt due to that is all I thought about before my appointment. He might work all day in surgery with rods, drills, screws, plates , knee and hip replacements but he is very gentle when it comes to a shot. Very happy patient!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Slappey performed my hip replacement in 2016 on my left hip and July 2020 on my right hip. In my opinion, he is the best there is and I am so thankful now because I can walk pain free. He is the best and I feel so blessed that he was the one who did my surgery.
