Dr. Grant Garlick is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and dual fellowship trained in adult reconstruction and sports medicine. He completed his medical training at the University of South Florida in Tampa and his residency in Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Garlick has advanced training in all areas of sports and joint replacement, including complex cartilage restoration, ligament reconstruction and joint resurfacing and replacement. He is trained in robotic surgery, navigation, arthroscopy, and minimally invasive surgery for knee replacement. He is currently one of the only surgeons in the region performing outpatient surgery center knee replacement. Although he has been trained in all areas of sports and joint reconstruction, his keen interest lies in knee joint preservation and patients with knee arthritis.

Dr. Garlick operated on my right knee 2 days ago and I’m doing great with my recovery so far.
He was kind and compassionate. He was thorough and informative. It’s nice to know that your provider actually listens. I am never disappointed with your providers, Dr. Hess has performed 4 surgeries on me and Dr. Alavi had addressed my right knee issues on 2 prior visits. Dr. Garlick exceeded my expectations and I am grateful to have been seen by him.
