Dr. Grant Blanchard, M.D., graduated Summa cum laude from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology in 2016. She then attended LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she earned her doctorate degree of medicine in 2016. I’m a new patient of Dr . Blanchard and I’m very glad I made the decision to see her . She’s friendly of course, she listened to all my cares and concerns , and answered any questions I had . I was seeing another female gynecologist before her , and had been seeing that one in particular for 14 years . But after having my breast exam done by Dr. Blanchard I’m so glad I decided to make the move to see her . My former gynecologist would just quickly feel my breast , Dr. Blanchard took her time and even felt below my arm pits and in my neck area . My previous dr. never felt below arm pits nor did she feel in my neck. She was very informative, even found out with me having an elevated blood pressure that me taking birth control with estrogen is very dangerous. So I was prescribed a b.c. Overall I’m very pleased with the decision I made to see Dr. Blanchard.

Dr. Grant Blanchard, M.D., is originally from Prairieville, LA. She's excited to move to Lafayette with her fiancé, Josh and their dog, Frankie. They are ready to try new restaurants and try to learn Cajun dancing.
Dr. Blanchard graduated from St. Amant High School in 2012. She graduated Summa cum laude from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology in 2016.
