Gery hsu is the worst health care provider I've ever encountered he was looking at the wrong imaging until I informed him I had 2 MRIs he glanced at one and said I see nothing wrong you just need to loose A LOT of weight which he repeated probably 25 times during the 12 minute or so visit he asked no questions about my symptoms and said the fact I have basically no reflexes in my left knee and Achilles had nothing to do with my spine which from what we have researched means my herniated disc is pinching my nerve in my lower back and is a time sensitive issue to prevent permanent damage he seemed to get upset when I disagreed with him and smugly pointed out that he was a surgeon he didn't give me a chance to say much and I was ready to get up and walk out during the visit due to his way of conducting the visit I got the impression that he is prejudice against overweight or obese people and maybe thought I was faking my pain in order to get pain meds which I'm not!!!!
He called my last dr. An opportunist. I did not need fusion surgery on neck to stop pinched nerve pain. I will notify surgeon of his comments.

Dr Hsu was very professional I went in for his opinion of the failed back surgery. We discussed the likely success and failure rate. He was very thorough. I will take some time to think it over.
Dr. Hsu is the most professional, most communicative and informative doctor I have seen in years. IMO he's a God send!
