Dr. George N. Zoys was born and raised in Dallas. He graduated Valedictorian from Bishop Dunne High School and attended Austin College. Dr. Zoys received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he distinguished himself by being elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He subsequently received the Charles Rockwood Award for Excellence in Orthopedics. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Zoys accepted a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Australia, where he participated in the orthopedic coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Achievements and Professional Experience:
His special interests are in sports medicine, trauma, and joint replacement. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Great experience. Staff were cordial and Dr Zoys was fantastic.
Very thorough and professional. Went over all options to make sure I was well informed.
.he seemed very nice. And certainly made things much simpler than any other surgeon I've seen. Although, he did seem a little rushed and reluctant to listen to the challenges my particular set of circumstances I'll have to work out for in order for me to have a successful recovery. But then again, my situation after surgery is quite unique.
I felt like I left the office not sure what to do next. Did I have a referral or not and was I supposed to call for an appointment.
Dr zoys did an excellent job on my knee replacement. He is also very caring and thorough. I recommend him highly
