Dr. George N. Zoys was born and raised in Dallas. He graduated Valedictorian from Bishop Dunne High School and attended Austin College. Dr. Zoys received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he distinguished himself by being elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He subsequently received the Charles Rockwood Award for Excellence in Orthopedics. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Zoys accepted a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Australia, where he participated in the orthopedic coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Achievements and Professional Experience:
His special interests are in sports medicine, trauma, and joint replacement. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Excellent. The input nurse was very caring. The Xray person very informative and the Doctor was great.
He always remembers me if it has been two years or 5 years. I trust him amend am glad that he takes my insurance once again.
Dr Zoys is amazing. I had total knee replacement this year and came in with a knee issue. He reassured me everything was fine, taking to explain what was happening and never made me feel like I was “being over dramatic”

Dr Zoys is an amazing orthopedic surgeon/doctor. My daughter’s knee pain worsened. I knew my next step was to make an appointment with Dr. Zoys. He treated her accordingly, she hasn’t complained of any pain so far. He’s treated other family members. We are so grateful for his kindness, expertise and professionalism.
