George T. Katsoudas, OD received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and then his Doctor of Optometry degree from NOVA Southeastern University College of Optometry in Davie, FL. Upon completing his education, Dr. Katsoudas returned to his hometown of Burlington, NC where he has practiced in corporate and private practices for over 15 years.
In 2016, Dr. Katsoudas joined the staff of Alamance Eye Center where he provides comprehensive optometric care, contact lens evaluations and fittings, as well as co-managing with ophthalmologists in the common goal of optimal vision and ocular health for every patient. Dr. Katsoudas is a member of the American Optometric Association and North Carolina Optometric Society.
Dr. Katsoudas, his wife and three children live in Burlington. They enjoy family time, exploring North Carolina, and following local, collegiate, and professional sporting events. The Alamance County community has always been a priority to Dr. Katsoudas, and he looks forward to offering his services to each and every one.

This was my first visit with Dr.Katsoudas he made me feel very comfortable. He truly is an amazing Dr. he took time to explain everything to me and made me feel heard. As a person that works in the medical field I truly appreciate that.

He was very understanding and explained things to me so I could follow. I was nervous and he took his time and did not feel rushed at all. Very thorough and professional.
Dr Katsoudas was fantastic. He took plenty of time to talk about what was going on with my eyes and made sure I understood. Very glad I went to see him. It has been two years and will be back next year
