There he completed an internship in internal medicine followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. In 2004, he completed his fellowship in pain medicine. Dr. Johnston is a diplomat of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 2004.
