He completed his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he received extensive training in Sports and Spine Medicine, which included the management of complex neurologic disorders. Following his residency, he was offered a prestigious fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles, where he completed advanced training in interventional spine and pain management.
Dr. Kolodge takes a holistic approach to the treatment of painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on the restoration of function and an improved quality of life. He offers a broad range of interventional treatment options, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and technologies, including: epidural steroid injections (ESI), nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations (rhizotomy), peripheral joint injections, regenerative therapies, and neuromodulation using spinal cord stimulators and peripheral nerve stimulators. He is also trained in electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS), which he utilizes to aid in the diagnosis and prognosis of certain neurologic conditions.
