Had my hip replaced by Dr Hart 2 years ago and he was wonderful. Thought I was going to have to get my other hip done but when he saw me last week he said didn’t need it! It was bursitis and now its gone!

We usually see Max instead of Dr Hart. But we have always had excellent experience with either.

I had unplanned hip surgery and was very fortunate that he was on call. Awesome Dr, kind ,compassionate took the time to answer questions and is well respected by dr’s and nurses at Jupiter Medical.

If you're looking for top notch conservative orthopedic surgeon who listens then look no further than Dr Hart. I've been a patient for several years and I can’t say enough good things about this doctor. His physician's assistant Max is also a highly qualified assistant who makes you feel very safe and comfortable.

Dr. Gavin P. Hart, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the operative and non-operative care of hip and knee arthritis. Utilizing his training at some of the top hip and knee replacement centers in North America, Dr. Hart utilizes the most up-to-date techniques to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. From non-operative options, including cortisone and viscosupplementation (“gel”) injections, to operative interventions, such as hip and knee replacement, Dr. Hart enjoys working with his patients to create personalized treatment plans. When it does come time for surgery, Dr. Hart specializes in advanced techniques such as anterior total hip replacement, a more minimally invasive, muscle-sparing option that allows patients a faster recovery following surgery.
Dr. Hart began his medical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was able to train with some of the pioneers of anterior total hip replacement at OrthoCarolina. Following residency, Dr. Hart completed his hip and knee replacement fellowship at London Health Sciences Center in London, Ontario. During this fellowship, Dr. Hart worked with international leaders in hip and knee replacement, specifically focusing on initial joint replacement as well as complex and revision joint replacement surgery.
His areas of expertise include:
Anterior total hip replacement Rapid-recovery and computer-assisted total knee replacement Partial/unicompartmental knee replacement Complex and revision hip and knee replacement General fracture care Dr. Hart currently serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed academic journals. He has also presented his research on hip and knee replacement at numerous national and international meetings.
Transplants to the Palm Beaches, Dr. Hart, his wife, and their young children love calling the area their home. They spend their free time fishing, enjoying the beach, and playing with their very spoiled dog.
