We consulted Dr. Goldberg for a second opinion on my husband’s prostate cancer, but we knew very quickly that he was who we trusted to treat the cancer AND take care of my husband. He took us through it all. The cancer, the options, the most effective treatment, the side effects (good and bad) and the team he assembled to holistically care for his patient and his family.

Dr Goldberg is an excellent doctor, and I’ve been seeing him now for a good number of years. My only complaint is the long wait to see him in the waiting room every time I have an appointment. If he wasn’t good, I would find another doctor to see!
A small anecdote- When I was undergoing surgery for third stage colon cancer at St Francis Hospital back in July of 2009, I was in the prep area waiting for the surgery and Doctor Goldberg came by to wish me the best. He also stopped by later to see how I was doing. That’s the kind of doctor he is! He cares about his patients!

We had several issues to discuss. Dr. Goldberg spent the necessary time to go over each of the concerns and answer my questions so we could establish a treatment plan that would consider the pros and cons of each option.

Dr. Goldberg is a good doctor and I would have given him a higher rating except for waiting times to see him. Today I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes before seeing him.
Usually I have to wait 45 minutes or more past my appointment time to see him.
Unexceptable!
