Gary Arishita

Dr. Gary Arishita is a board-certified general and plastic surgeon who brings over three decades of surgical expertise to PRMA, including a distinguished 25-year career in the U.S.Air Force. From 2003 to 2008, Dr. Arishita served as Chief Plastic Surgeon and lead microvascular plastic surgeon, performing the majority of free flap breast reconstructions in the military and training the next generation of Air Force plastic surgeons. He also played a key role in developing breast cancer treatment protocols that prioritized patient education on reconstruction options. Breast reconstruction was Dr. Arishita’s primary reason for choosing plastic surgery and remained his area of interest throughout his service. Since joining PRMA in 2008, Dr. Arishita has continued to focus exclusively on breast reconstruction, offering a full spectrum of techniques including free tissue transfer, implants, expanders, and fat grafting.
