Dr. Garland K. Gudger, Jr., M.D. earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Greenville Hospital System. Before joining the Hughston Clinic, Dr. Gudger completed a fellowship as the 2016-2017 Hughston ACE Fellow at the Hughston Foundation where he received specialty training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine as well as hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Gudger is the best, and Ben is the best PA. They both are very polite, patient, understanding of patients concerns, very good mannerism. Recommend these two to anyone for Orthopedic problems. I have used the Hughston Clinic doctors since 1994.

Dr. Gudger replaced my right knee 5 years ago. It is perfect, and I so appreciate him. I went to him today to check out my other knee. I tell everyone about what a grand Dr. he is.
