She was very unprofessional not listening to my concerns then got mad at me for needing a second to process the laundry list of tests and procedures she advised. Saying I was disrespecting her by not talking for at most 30 sec. Then after getting her feelings hurt she asked me 2 times if I was having unprotected sex with men even though I had said I’m straight in the beginning of the meeting and insinuating I was homosexual even though the tests she was referring to are in between me and my infectious disease doctor and had nothing to do with my business there. I wish I could press this further and take legal action but this will do.

If having a first-time colonoscopy can be enjoyable, everything about this experience (okay, not the prep) was excellent. All of the techs, nurses, anesthetists, and Dr. Adams were way above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate efficiency married with compassion (meaning that I felt seen and heard, even though they are a busy practice). In fact, my husband has his exams at another provider in town, and I am going to try to get him to switch. And the key to an easier prep experience is limiting solid food in the days beforehand, even more than their recommendation!
