He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Houston Methodist Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His clinical interests include advanced heart failure therapies, cardiac imaging, and the integration of telehealth to improve patient outcomes.

He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lora Ferreira has remained actively involved in medical education, research, and volunteer service. He has presented at national cardiology conferences, contributed to numerous clinical research projects, and has served as a mentor and instructor in medical education initiatives.
His clinical interests include advanced heart failure therapies, cardiac imaging, and the integration of telehealth to improve patient outcomes. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lora Ferreira enjoys traveling, cooking, motorsports, and exploring new ways to better serve his community.
