So I believe that he has given me good care in terms of being a surgeon. But I didn’t appreciate that today on my FollowUp. He looked at my boyfriend the whole time he was talking about my foot instead of looking at me. I also think he took my stitches out too early on the side of my foot and therefore increased my chance of infection. I’m actually in more pain tonight than I was when I saw him earlier.

He served as chief resident during his residency training at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, FL.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Galan enjoys working out, watching and playing football, and spending time with his family. Traveling for medical purposes is also a passion of his, noted by his previous medical mission work in the Amazon, Peru, Dominican Republic and Yucatan Peninsula.
