I had a friend that had his bone spur shaved down to stop pain as he walked. Dr Galan never mentioned that as an option. I also have a Taylor bunion, on little toe, and he says to fix it to would be Hard also to shave down. I have read many articles that say it’s not that hard to do.yet I had a neighbor that had it done with no issues after. Didn’t feel like I had much hope of ever fixing these issues.

Someone canceled my appt for today, yet I received a text confirming appt and also forms to fill out in the portal. Huge mixup. I canceled my appt for Aug 7 because I was sick and rescheduled for today, Aug 14th. Then when I checked out today to make my next appt, the woman at the desk (dark hair, pulled back) asked which dr and I said Galan. She asked what body part. Umm, Dr Galan is a podiatrist. A podiatrist cares for the FEET. Geez. Then, after I said I was making my next appt with Dr. Galan, she repeated multiple times Dr. KERN. I am Sheila Kern and I had given her my DOB. And she is trying to book my appt with Dr. Kern!!! Good grief, what did that woman have for lunch

Went for simple bunion surgery and asked about having neuroma removed. Was told I didn’t have neuroma. Now worse, after 2 surgeries, with new bone growth on toe. Been thru a bone stimulator, PT and an “extensionator”. Costing pain time and money. Sadly I lost all faith in Dr. Galan and Southeast Orthopedics. It’s Ok as long as don’t walk any further than one time around the block. Any more than that and I get 2 days of pain. That’s all I get. Could offer nothing else except go back and see him in 3 months.
