He returned to his hometown of Augusta to attend Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 2012. Dr. Ellison then completed his training in open and endovascular surgery at Louisiana State University Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency program in New Orleans. In 2014 he received the Warren L.
