Dr. Fumin Tong joined Neurology Group in 2015. She is a 1998 Graduate of the Medical College of Nanjing University, one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in China. She earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the Center for Cardiovascular Sciences of Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Tong received her neurological training at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York and an Epilepsy fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Tong's special interests within the practice include Adult Neurology, Epilepsy, EEG monitoring and Evoked Potentials. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
