Frederick J. Watson, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Frederick J. Watson, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine physician. While he is an experienced and accomplished surgeon, Dr. Watson believes that the mainstay of care for most orthopaedic conditions relies on nonsurgical interventions. He is a team physician for intercollegiate athletics for a local university.

He earned his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Connecticut Health Center.

Well-trained, highly credentialed, and broadly experienced, Dr. Watson provides complete orthopaedic care. His clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow as well as operative and nonoperative fracture care. Dr. Watson also provides expert services, including independent medical evaluations and medical record reviews.
