Dr. Azar is the most knowledgeable, friendly, talented and capable doctor I've ever seen. He was phenomenal in treating me for my torn rotator cuff (two massive tears on right shoulder) and I saw him again for a knee problem that in which he clearly laid out the issue and suggested the best plan of action. He is kind and engaging and obviously cares about his patients.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Azar at Campbell since 2017.I don’t have to go that often. When I need an appointment they get me in quickly. He is a great doctor, friendly. Not one of those doctors who is in out of the room in less than 3-4 Minutes. He sits down and and asks how you’re doing and listens to you . He has a great staff, super friendly. There’s usually not a wait to see him unless for some odd chance he’s running behind, but it’s not for long if he is. Either way I wouldn’t go to anyone else but him. He makes getting the shots in my knee’s a little less painful. I don’t think I could let another doctor do the shots EVER! Especially when I get both knees done the same day. If you have bad knees of have hurt your shoulder go see him . He’s an awesome doctor and will treat you like an actual patient.

Dr. Azar diagnosed issue with my knee that wouldn’t need surgery and prescribed PT. The last time I went to two ortho doctors at different practices for a hand issue, they injected me with steroids for the pain and then suggested surgery but neither suggested PT to start with. I had to advocate for myself and get better hand brace and PT prescription which resolved my issue fully. So to see that Dr. Azar went with non-invasive treatments first made me feel confident from get go. I wasn’t in pain but had an issue that surfaced when I had gained 50 lbs and pregnant but after seeing him, I felt confident that even if my issue recurs, I have a great doctor to help with the issue.

I waited two hours after my appointment time before he finally came in. He wasn’t in the room 10 minutes and was very dismissive and and rude. He said that there wasn’t much to be done for my torn rotator cuff and he didn’t recommend surgery because I will still have pain afterwards.

Fast, knowledgeable, definitive therapy. It does not get any better.

I waited approximately 30min and when the doctor came, he rushed in, he did not examine me, he didn't seem concerned about the reason I was there. He was telling me that "you know you have some arthritis in your neck and if you hadn't fallen your shoulders would not be hurting". Reason number 1 it was an accident and when I was trying to tell him he acted unconcerned. He just said what he wasn't going to do and referred me to Physical therapy and left out, he didn't say I hope you feel better. He was rushing I didn't have time to ask questions. He was in and out less than 10min. The young intern that was Shadowing him had more compassion than the doctor. I will not follow-up with him. I want be able to start Physical therapy for another 2 weeks. So, I left feeling worse Physically and disappointed because of his bedside manners.

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Azar this week for my knee issue. He was quick to ask all the pertinent questions and to diagnose and formulate an easy to follow plan to remedy the issue, as well as a couple of potential future plans if needed. The PT, Austin Boyd, was equally as professional and thorough in developing a set of home stretching exercises to facilitate the healing of the knee and going beyond by explaining how each exercise would help fix the issue. I can’t speak highly enough about the Campbell Clinic office overall, from the welcome desk to the nurses and radiologist to the PT and doctors I’ve had the pleasure to meet. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Azar and his team for any orthopedic matters similar to mine.

Quick explained in detail what’s happening and just made me feel comfortable even while in pain.

Dr. Azar explained my injury, gave me details about how long it would hurt, how long it would take to heal and my limitations in the meantime. He was very nice and encouraging!
