Excellent personality for a surgeon he explained everything and asked me if I had any questions at all. I really appreciated his bedside manner and his concerned for my welfare. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone that needs hand, wrist, and finger care.

Had a great experience with Dr Raia today. The office is very well run and efficient. I was early for my appointment and they got me back early for a quick x-ray and then shortly thereafter to see the doctor. He did his exam looked at my x-rays asked me some questions. The doctor is very knowledgeable and explains things clearly.

Dr. Raia has been caring for patients at The CORE Institute since 2007. Dr. Raia’s primary surgical procedures include carpal tunnel release, treatment of tendonitis and arthritis, and hand trauma including fractures and lacerations of the hand and wrist. His primary clinical focus is in treating common hand and wrist disorders and conditions.
Dr. Raia continues to stay active in the medical community, holding membership with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has been on the membership committee for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand for a number of years. He is also a part of the Hand, Upper Extremity and Microsurgical Fellowship faculty at the University of Arizona – Phoenix.
Dr. Raia earned his fellowship education from C.V. Starr Hand Surgery Center at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He attended Columbia University Medical Center for his residency program. Dr. Raia graduated cum laude from Princeton University.
