Dr. Frank Giardina, MS, O.D., FAAO is the Optometric Director and Residency Director at CHC. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, In addition, he obtained his Master‘s Degree in Public Health from California State University, Northridge. He completed his optometry residency at Vancouver Veterans Hospital, where he earned his Certificate of Training in Hospital Optometry. He also completed a Fellowship in Teaching at Pacific University. He is a three times recipient of the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award. He is a published author in the field of optometry with over 50 articles, and a recipient of the Best Technical Article Award by the Optometric Editors Association. He is an adjunct professor of optometry at several universities and was appointed to the California State Board of Optometry by the Governor.
In his spare time he and his wife enjoy attending plays and concerts and raising miniature schnauzers.

Very pleased!! Doctor explained “why” he was doing each step and what he was looking for. He asked questions about my health and how it affects my vision!
I have some cognitive memory issues. Glasses required to drive, but I misplaced them. Love You. Thank You for taking care of Grandpa. Calmed me immensely.

The most pleasant experience . Check in was painless and the exam very professional and smoothly conducted.
Total incompetence of the employees. My glasses were done incorrectly so I came fr another test .I asked if I should bring my old glasses was told no need but I brought them anyway..after spending a long time finding new frame and after i left i was contacted 32hours later to ask me to bring the old ones and Iam already far awayfrom the clinic .they told me that they will not be able to use the new ones I choose and that they were going to use the old frame which I didn't mind except fr the long drive wasting my gas cos of their incompetence...
