Outstanding
I have been seeing Dr Ponce for over 10 years; he provides excellent advice and is a true professional. He did a major spine surgery and all went well.
Dr. Ponce explained the FUS procedure in detail along with possible side effects that might be experienced. My questions were thoroughly answered. Dr. Ponce also completely answered all of my husband's questions too, and we both left feeling confident about the decision. The meeting notes that were emailed to me were accurate and a welcome reminder of our meeting.
I was very nervous about seeing Dr. Ponce because having him except me as a patient was very important. He put at ease immediately. We discussed the pros and cons of the MRI guided Focused Ultrasound procedure for tremors and the Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. I am interested in having the FUS procedure as it does not involve incisions. It was a very good consultation and I am happy that I have been scheduled for the procedure in March. Dr. Ponce has a wonderful way of interacting with his patients. The staff are helpful and supportive of the patients needs. It was a very good meeting and I am very grateful to everyone at Barrow Neurological Institute.
