So personable. He shook my hand 3 times from start to finish and I truly felt he saw me as a patient and a person. He explained my scans with a hands on visual aid and sat to talk with me through options so I understood exactly what he was saying. I will definitely come back to him and recommend others to his practice. Excellent healthcare provider. 10/10

Dr. Chamas is the best doctor he has a great personality and he cares very much for his patient's takes his time with you never will rush you he listens to his patient's i had 3 surgery's and everyone he did his care was exceptional highly recommend him and everyone of his staff was awesome

Great bedside manner!!! He was kind, caring and patient. He took time to really talk about my health concerns and explained what my body was feeling and why. I left his office feeling heard and that is always appreciated.

Dr. Chamas is personable, answers all questions, listens intently to his patients & provides outstanding outcomes. He performed my neck surgery & i had absolutely no pain at all & recovered beautifully. I have no scar & cant tell at all where the incision was. Dr. Chamas' hands are touched by God.

Dr. Firas M. Chamas. is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who studied under experts in the treatment of complex spine disorders. After completing his fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital he served as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. There he gained extensive experience in complex as well as minimally invasive techniques of spine surgery. He also pioneered minimally invasive approaches to lumbo-pelvic fixation in the treatment of complex sacral fractures and tumors.
Dr. Chamas has lived most of his life in New York. He received his M.D./Ph.D. from New York Medical College in Valhalla and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He spent a few years away to train and embellish his skills in Baltimore and Birmingham and then decided to come home to New York.
Dr. Chamas is a strong believer in listening to the patient, examining the patient and working together with the patient to decide on the best treatment option for each individual. His expertise in a wide array of invasive and non-invasive techniques enables him to tailor an optimal treatment plan for each individual patient.
