Dr. Adame is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society. She has presented her work at both national and regional conferences, and she also serves as a journal reviewer for The Journal of Clinical Immunology: In Practice, staying up to date with the latest research to provide the best care for her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Adame enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, M. Julian Adame, M.D., also an Allergist/Immunologist with AllergySA, and their son and infant daughter. Together, they explore new hiking trails around San Antonio and enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures through food and local traditions.
Dr. Adame loves the field of allergy because it allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients, from childhood to adulthood, as this specialty offers the unique opportunity to care for the entire family.

Dr. Fiona was fantastic! She was very thorough, patient and made me feel good about next steps and determining my daughter‘s allergy. She’s great with kids and I highly recommend her and her whole staff was also incredible.
Dr.Fiona was amazing! I have a kiddo with nut allergies and it was great to hear all of the new treatments that are available.
Dr. Adame and employees were very nice. I didn’t appreciate the push to have the $600 allergy test performed without knowing what my insurance would cover. I have a mild watery right eye situation when it’s windy. Eye drops were prescribed so I’ll see what happens. I will not be returning.
She was very patient oriented and listened to my concerns. She had avceptable answers for my questions, explained and developed a plan of action immediately.
I liked that she was thorough and explained everything, from what the “plan” is to possible worst case scenarios..
After months of struggling with severe hives and itching, seeing Dr. Fiona Adame was a turning point. She took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and thoroughly reviewed my symptoms. Unlike my previous experiences, I never felt rushed. Dr. Adame quickly diagnosed me with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) and immediately put together a treatment plan, giving me hope after months of uncertainty. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an allergist who listens and provides exceptional care.
