He has served as an investigator for a variety of clinical research trials and has contributed to many publications with topics including severe aortic stenosis, congestive heart failure and peripheral vascular disease.
Dr. Ortiz is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography and internal medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and is fluent in Spanish.
