Identifies problems with the patient by using his skills developed over time to help the patient heal properly. Ordered the correct diagnostics to for me to be able to diagnose the problem in my knee. He also gave me the correct referral to the orthopedic doctor who can fix my knee. Thank you.

I am very pleased with the services provided by Dr. Muniz and his staff. From the receptionist you get the feeling of concern, care and awareness of one’s reason for having the appointment to see Dr. Muniz. Together, they make it less stressful and tolerable, for pain management is stressful enough. Of course they all seem to listen and address the issues better each time I visit this Doctor. Dr. Muniz is an amazing pain management doctor. I have seen Dr. Muniz for several years after being referred to by Dr. Franz dealing with chronic back pain. He is very personable, caring, trustful, and confident in the recommended treatment. He takes the time to explain any procedures before and during treatment.

I like Dr Muniz, He always has a smile when he opens the door at his office. He is so easy to talk to about my problems with the pain in my body.

The staff was wonderful, sweet and attentive. I can not say the same for Dr. Muniz himself , he was in and out in a matter of a few minutes and didn't seem to want to listen to me or answer any of my questions. I know that nurses are underrated and do the majority of the work, but I expect the actual Doctor to do at least 10% of it. He made me feel like my health concerns were irrelevant, and I was left with little to no choice in my plan of care. Most frustratingly, my concerns were left unheard or just dismissed by him. Bedside manner needs to be addressed.

He doesn’t mess around guessing or trying things that are not immediately helpful to alleviate pain, he gets right to the issues causing the pain and he’s good at explaining the options and procedures, so you’re not left wondering what’s going on. His staff are great at communicating with patient insurance companies, a great nurses staff as well as outstanding receptionist scheduling procedures. Customer online portal allow great communication with the staff as well as prescription fills and refills with your choice of pharmacy requests. He and his colleagues are the best pain management specialist I’ve ever encountered.
