I did an extensive Research for my husband to see a Sergon for his issue, finally I realized that Dr. Samie is the Best Dr. in Manhattan probably among the best of the best Doctors with not only Reviews and also comments on their results. Plus the Stuff were a pleasure to be in that facility

Dr. Samie's female Resident laughed and joked about causing me pain and then did a very heavy, ham handed, painful job of injecting the local anesthetic. Her attitude showed she didn't care about patient comfort or learning how to do the procedure well. It was an unexpected nightmare after Dr. Geskin's very powerful but delicate anesthetic injection that I barely felt. I do not want that female Resident to give me anesthetic again or to counter Dr. Geskin's instructions which I respect and value highly. Dr. Samie seemed very pleasant and his biopsy was painless and barely noticeable. He certainly would have merited FIVE STARS were it not for his female Resident's actions and attitudes which were a major distraction from his fine work.

Although it was a very long day, everyone remained patient & courteous throughout the process.

Very clear analysis and explanation of choices for determining diagnosis.Painless and quick surgery. A Very Caring doctor. Also answered personal family question about any relationship between skin cancer & kidney cancer.

Dr. Samie is top shelf, as are his assistants and staff. Procedure and follow-up went as one would want. He also checked out another issue and put in an order so we can see what it is that is causing discomfort in my torso.

He is a superb and skillful surgeon. I've had a number of small mohs surgeries--he gets it all the first time. Also had to do effudex several times. Very careful inspecting my skin on followups. I trust him. Columbia has a treasure with him. Dermatology department is great.

The office isn't using Connect fully. The office continues to use the phone for most interactions, rather than Connect. This wastes their time and mine.

I've been pleased with the simple Mohs surgeries, but my last 2 both had serious post-surgery complications: one a pus buildup, which caused another doctor to cancel scheduled hamstring surgery and one just this week which had profuse bleeding at home after the surgery.
