Dr. Everett Moody specializes in strabismus for children and adults and also treats patients for double vision and nystagmus.
Dr. Moody was the 25th Pediatric Ophthalmologist trained in history. His Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. was with Dr. Frank Costenbader and Dr. Marshall Parks. He also did a fellowship at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Moody is a member of the TMA, AMA, AAO, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS). He has practiced in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex since 1970, and has developed a practice devoted to Pediatric Ophthalmology with subspecialty interest in Strabismus. He also cares for strabismus in adults. He and his wife, Buzz, have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. His special interests include taking lay courses at the Dallas Theological Seminary and participating in several volunteer clinics.
