Early in his medical experience, Dr. Evan Simonson saw a need for quality, evidence-based foot and ankle surgeons. Keeping patients active and on their feet is, and always has been, a rewarding aspect of his field. What he most enjoys is the patients. Period. He loves the academic side of my job, but what gets him up in the morning is the satisfaction and relief he can provide for those he treats.
Dr. Simonson is a prefers giving patients options and educating them about the benefits and potential risks for each treatment. Patients have different goals, so he tailors his treatments to best fit their needs and expectations. Dr. Simonson hopes to give them peace of mind. He can very often provide relief from pain, but he also wants them to know they are making the right decision for their personal health. Dr. Simonson often has a treatment in mind that will provide excellent results, but if the patient has other priorities, there are many other options that may provide relief.
In his free time, Dr. Simonson enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, cooking, woodworking, metalwork, reading and travel. He enjoys spending time with his three daughters and wife.

Wonderful bedside manner. Answers all questions, clearly describes plans and possibilities. Calm and answers all questions. He's "there".
Dr Simonson is a great surgeon and has great bedside manner. He fixed my foot and I had minimal pain. I would recommend Dr Simonson to anyone with foot or ankle problems.

Dr. Simonson is absolutely awesome! I recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgable, accessible and most of all - an incredibly nice man.

Dr. Simonson was hands down amazing, and so was his MA. I was so apprehensive to go in because I have never had surgery before, and I was in a lot of pain with my broken foot. Everyone from the front office staff to the back office staff was amazing. I really appreciate the caring nature, and the reassurance of the condition that I was in. Dr. Simonson was very thorough, and calmed me right down. When I walked out I felt so much relief. Thank you so much for allowing me to have a good experience under the circumstance I was in.
