Early in his medical experience, Dr. Evan Simonson saw a need for quality, evidence-based foot and ankle surgeons. Keeping patients active and on their feet is, and always has been, a rewarding aspect of his field. What he most enjoys is the patients. Period. He loves the academic side of my job, but what gets him up in the morning is the satisfaction and relief he can provide for those he treats.
Dr. Simonson is a prefers giving patients options and educating them about the benefits and potential risks for each treatment. Patients have different goals, so he tailors his treatments to best fit their needs and expectations. Dr. Simonson hopes to give them peace of mind. He can very often provide relief from pain, but he also wants them to know they are making the right decision for their personal health. Dr. Simonson often has a treatment in mind that will provide excellent results, but if the patient has other priorities, there are many other options that may provide relief.
In his free time, Dr. Simonson enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, cooking, woodworking, metalwork, reading and travel. He enjoys spending time with his three daughters and wife.

Dr Simson is so friendly and understanding compassionate. I go in every three months and I’m very happy with the treatments that he’s giving me for my pain thank you so much. The whole staff is amazing and friendly very professional and very clean. I definitely give it a five star. And thank you for your service.

Love Dr Simonson! He is so caring and takes time to explain things. Office staff is great too! His nurse Caitlyn quickly returns my calls and so helpful. I had surgery and Dr simonson did an amazing job!
Dr. Simonson is excellent. Kind, empathetic and explains things carefully. I feel his assistant Kaylin (sp?) could benefit from taking a little more time with the patient. She’s very nice, and I understand she goes through the same procedures several times a day, but something like putting on a walking boot? There are steps that need to be done in order, and rushing through it doesn’t help. The patient is usually experiencing this for the first time so she needs to be sure they can do it properly before they leave. When I had to put the boot on myself the first time, it took quite awhile and I still got it wrong. I eventually got it right, but patients just need to know they matter, not be dispensed with in a hurry.
I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Simonson. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine compassion truly sets him apart. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything in a clear and reassuring way, and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of my care. The entire experience with Dr. Simonson felt personalized, and I never once felt rushed or overlooked. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such expertise with a truly caring bedside manner. I left feeling confident, supported, and grateful for the level of care I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Simonson to anyone looking for exceptional medical care.
