Dr Ehea is first &foremost, a very nice person--that's important to me. He's also an excellent doctor, good listener, & is patient & kind. I appreciate the care & attention he gave me for this problem & to the solution he provided. I definitely got immediate relief, within the time period Dr Rhea said was likely. I'm also hoping it will provide long term relief. If not, I can return for another treatment. Thank you for the good care I've had for almost 20 years--especially the 4 total joint replacements done by Dr Lawrence Schaper, he was the best. Dr Rhea tends those joints (both knees & hips) since Dr Schaper retired. We've developed a good relationship & I have total confidence in the care he provides. Also as I said when I began my review, I like him as a person, which is an important factor for me. I have several long-term health issues of which arthritis is the most abiding. That makes this part of my healthcare journey even more relevant. It's vital.

Dr. Evan B. Rhea, a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon, specializes in primary and revision total hip and knee replacement, anterior approach hip replacement, partial knee replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, and general orthopedics. A Louisville native and proud graduate of Trinity High School, Dr. Rhea joined Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics in 2022. After completing his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida Jacksonville, he pursued advanced fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at the University of Louisville, with a focus on complex revision procedures.
Dr. Rhea remains connected to his community by supporting Trinity sports as a team physician when needed.
