He had a bad attitude. He stood up next to the door the whole time(except when he sat to exam my penis for 30 seconds) . I waited 10 years to see a doctor and had a lot of questions and concerns. He wansnt interested at all. I felt like I had to so much to say but needed to hurry and get to the point bc he wasn’t interested. I even asked him if he’s bored bc he acted like I was bothering him. Spoke to me condescendingly and even accused me of arguing with him. The whole experience with the office has been horrible and he made sure to make it even worse. I would never go back if it weren’t for the fact that medical
forces me to see him only. He didn’t seem sympathetic or understanding and couldn’t care less. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. Ever.

In addition to being a founding member of Genesis Healthcare Partners, he is the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Program of the Sharp Memorial Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. He has been practicing in San Diego since 1999.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Vapnek received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester before earing his M.D. from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed two years of General Surgery training at University of California, San Francisco follow by a Urology residency at Downstate Medical Center.
