Terrible bedside manner. Terrible!
Actually got mad at me because I remembered something and tried to say it but he was talking so I did interrupt. But he actually got angry closed his eyes tight, his jaw clenched and he’s just a jerk.
Besides the fact, I waited over 30 minutes. Which wouldn’t have bothered me if he was nice, but he was not.

Dr. Vapnek is amazing! I was referred to him by my urologist for a surgery consult. I had a lot of questions and was very nervous going into my appointment. He answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns, and thoroughly explained all the options available to me. I walked out of my appointment feeling much more at ease and with all of my questions answered.

Dr. Evan M. Vapnek, M.D. is a Board Certified Urologist and Kidney Transplant surgeon. In addition to being a founding member of Genesis Healthcare Partners, he is the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Program of the Sharp Memorial Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. He has been practicing in San Diego since 1999.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Vapnek received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester before earing his M.D. from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed two years of General Surgery training at University of California, San Francisco follow by a Urology residency at Downstate Medical Center.
