Fui por un dolor abajo del riñón, eso pensaba yo, llegó y ni me saludo, dijo en qué te puedo ayudar?, le comenté dónde me dolía, dijo que en lo que el respecta todo está bien, que existen dolores y si era del estómago tenía que ir con mi doctor primario....me dió menos de 2 min cuando me tuvieron esperando en el cuarto aproximadamente 20 min...y no es lo que me dijo, lo puedo entender, es como lo dijo....que fuera yo una señora lunática, enfadosa, no educada... aún así, se supone que es él el que tiene una profesión, el de la educación, considero que cualquier persona que esté en esa posición, sobre todo con personas mayores que no entendemos y que vamos con ellos no creo que sea justo....pero bueno, eso no cambia nada, quise explicar mi inquietud, y si estoy en un herror me disculpo de antemano... gracias.

Dr. Evan M. Vapnek, M.D. is a Board Certified Urologist and Kidney Transplant surgeon. In addition to being a founding member of Genesis Healthcare Partners, he is the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Program of the Sharp Memorial Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. He has been practicing in San Diego since 1999.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Vapnek received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester before earing his M.D. from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed two years of General Surgery training at University of California, San Francisco follow by a Urology residency at Downstate Medical Center. He then completed a two year fellowship in Renal Transplantation at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
He is a past president of the San Diego Urological Association and serves on the board for the Urologic Society for Transplant and Renal Surgery.
