He was in a bit of a hurry to get out of there. Would have liked him to look at my places where my incisions were to make sure they’re healing right cause there’s kind of. They’re kind of bumpy but didn’t bring that up in time. It’s a very nice ma’am. Lexi, his nurse is awesome.

From Dr. Hermanson A good friend of mine in medical school was two years older and when he started his orthopedic surgery residency, he sat me down in the library and went through what he called, the ‘spectrum of medicine.’ On one end of the spectrum are fields of medicine where there is a lot of time and resources spent trying to figure out what the patient’s diagnosis is, but then there often aren’t good treatment options. On the other end is orthopedic surgery. We typically know what the problem is and can spend most of our time helping the person with the problem and can really impact his or her quality of life. As my friend stated, ‘We can’t help everyone but we can help most.’ It’s a very special thing to help someone alleviate pain, improve function, and improve overall quality of life
