I overall like Dr. Freedman. He has been my physician for numerous years.

While he did a great job with the injection (very little pain), I wasn’t even sure what type of injection he was giving. The prep nurse (?) had me sign a bunch of papers, and covered up the top — I couldn’t see what I was signing! Bad on me I suppose, but more info would have been nice!

Dr Freedman has been treating my chronic pain for more than 15 years. He keeps me informed about new treatments that could help me. He’s very professional but I wouldn’t mind if he was a little more friendly and personable.

I have been in hip pain for almost 10 months, 6 of which were wasted with another orthopedic “specialist” who did nothing, and as he could not “fix” me he referred me back to my regular GP. Dr Freedman lacks communication skills. I should not have to go to another medical professional to find out what area a nerve block will target. This is my second time with this doctor and he has failed twice to provide a professional response to my concerns. Instead he is more than rude in his response, by trying to talk down to you. I will never recommend him!

He cut me off and didn’t really listen to me and he suggested pain medication that may cause weight gain when he just told me to loose weight. Yet I’ve lost 33 pounds on my own and he kept looking at my body up and down like he was judging me for being overweight. Just made me feel uncomfortable I think I’ll go back to my other doctor instead.

So I'm torn on this one. The doc is great. But he had me come in today And I literally went in to be told to come back in 6 weeks. The appointment was useless. And with gas prices as High as they are it didn't help to have to come in. We are struggling at the moment. So gotta try and save all we can. That didn't help. So 5 stars normally But down to 3 stars for this last visit.

Proficient. Explained procedure. The procedure was seamless. He answered my questions but didn’t seem like he wanted to take much time. The whole team was very coordinated and moved quickly to get me discharged as quickly as possible.

Injection of cortisone in Dec. had no effect. On Jan 13 epidermal has not been satisfactory. Still have a lot of pain. Follow up on Jan. 24th. Dr Freedman very pleasant.

He is wonderful. Always does what is needed. The only problem is getting to him when needed!! Needs an easier process when you are in a great deal of pain.
