I’ve had several visits with De Crain & I intentionally did not rate my previous visits because I extended him some grace & gave him opportunities to correct his behaviors. He has rushed my appointments, cut me off while I was talking, walked away while I was talking and did not validate my concerns. He’s rude, unprofessional, and has poor bedside manners. Even after speaking with him and asked if he can be patient and listen to my concerns, he still walked out of the room while I was taking. I will not be returning.

Dr. Crain lacked patience in listening to my concerns and did not completely answer my questions about the pros and cons and side effects of the treatment he proposed. He was very assuming and jumped to the conclusion that I should have the shot there and then. He became annoyed and dismissive by my concerns and questions about immediately taking the shot and rushed out of the room, which denied me of completing my consultation with him. I felt very disrespected during this consultation. I felt terribly rushed and I refused to make a decision under duress.

Nice man limited time to speak with him however.

He may be a really good surgeon, but doesn't do enough patient education. I went to see him after a knee injury. I had a cracked patella. They fitted me with an immobilizer but no one asked if I'd driven myself there (I had), if I had a cane along (I didn't), or where I had parked (pretty far). I was on my own as far as getting home and once there, the internet provided my occupational therapy.

I went to the Doctor for a cordazone shot & a script of Meloxicam for pain. We discussed me scheduling for a knee replacement. Then he walked out the room with out doing the shot and No Meloxicam script was sent to CVS. I left the office still in pain ….Dr Crane decided to keep me I with knee pain to rush me to get knee surgery. What a wasted appointment…I’am so Mad .. I Not ever going back to Dr Crane for Ignoring my Pain …Patient’s have Rights …

Dr. Crane is a great surgeon but I do not have my full range of motion because I did not receive physical therapy early enough. Week 7 is too late. I did the pulley exactly as I was told but was not given detailed instructions. The sling was mediocre at best. I was told by two physical therapists that I should have been in for therapy earlier.

Following a total knee replacement in December 2021, I had a bit of a panic attack with some swelling in the knee. 1st State got me in for an appointment, same day, and allayed all my 'fears'.

Dr. Crain did a fantastic job repairing a chipped own in my elbow that was attached to one of my tricep muscles. This injury took place about four months ago and I am now working out with limits of course, and I am gradually building up my upper arm muscles once again. I couldn’t be happier with the results I am experiencing and I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job than Dr. Crain did to repair this fracture!

Dr Crain told me it was time for knee replacement and was right. He did excellent job ..with therapy and doing what I needed the knee feels great at 6 weeks was doing much better and have been driving and after 4 weeks stopped taking pain pills.

Have had four surgeries preformed by Dr Crain in the span of 14 years and he will always be my go to surgeon if needed. Great personality as well.

Dr. Crain was very kind and caring. I appreciated his concern about my shoulder and the physical therapy is strengthening the use of my right arm.

Very efficient. Explained what was causing pain, and provided treatment options. I selected an injection, and after a couple of days there is almost no pain.
