Dr Mahaney is no longer able to sit with his patient to evaluate their pain & location. The patient is evaluated by the nurse, the patient goes into the treatment room, lies on table, face down in table hole, has underwear pulled down & back area prepped by technician. Dr Mahaney enters to inject area that was deemed necessary by nurse, while the patient tries to discuss area of pain with face in hole & partially naked. Dr Mahaney clearly states he has no control of this current system.
Having been his patient for 23 years, find this totally unacceptable. This happened after third party, Evacor, declined this pain managements along with the appeal process, for 8 weeks before AETNA approved it.
