My daughter was getting her 2 month shots and doctor said “she probably won’t get a fever but if she does just give her some Tylenol”. So I thought my daughter wasn’t going to catch a fever. Well, my daughter got a fever of 100.7 after the shots. The doctor didn’t tell me what the side effects could be, what the shots even are, they want you to scan a barcode instead of actually telling you what they are and what they’re for, and didn’t even tell me how much Tylenol to give my daughter when the Tylenol box said “under 24 months see a doctor first”…. Welp. Good thing my husbands mom worked there for a little bit so we had her to ask questions. She gave us the correct amount of Tylenol to give her and also told us that more than 3/4 of the babies DO get fevers after their 2 month shots. Thanks doc for the heads up that my daughter “probably won’t” catch a fever.

I bring my kids at the beginning of their cold to be seen..it's viral..I'm told if the symptoms last longer than a week bring them back. I bring my kids with the same cold back from what I can tell it's an URI. I get told it's almost over. No point to prescribe anything for it now. I got the same cold from my kids. I went to my doctor the first day of symptoms they prescribed me antibiotics and I felt better with in 24 hours. This isn't the first or second time I've took my kids here for them to be sent home with no relief. I understand everything is pretty much viral now days. Relief is still available from the antibiotics given. My recommendations go to a doctor that actually wants to give your children relief not waste gas and time just to be told deal with it it's viral.

In her spare time, Dr. Wilson keeps a saltwater aquarium at home and loves visiting the beach with her husband, son, and dog.
