The reviews listed below were collected independently of Eye Associates of Boca Raton through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
The doctor was very good once we finally saw him, but the wait time was unacceptable. My father’s appointment was scheduled for 3:15, yet we were not seen until 5:28. While the preliminary tests were done fairly quickly, we ended up being the very last patient seen. Since this appointment had already been rescheduled due to the doctor’s absence, I can only assume the office either overbooked or overlooked my father’s appointment.
Regardless of the reason, making a 91-year-old man in a wheelchair with dementia wait over two hours is simply not acceptable. He lives in a memory care facility with scheduled transportation, and such delays create unnecessary stress and hardship. This experience was extremely frustrating, and I hope steps are taken to prevent this from happening again.
