Dr. Ernest H. Agatstein, M.D., is a founding member of West Coast Urology. He is a Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA, where he also received his medical degree and was admitted to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed his surgical internship, general surgery training, and urologic residency at UCLA Medical Center.
Board-certified and board-recertified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Agatstein is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association. He served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine from 1987 to 2019, and as Chief of Urology at Centinela Hospital and PIH Downey.
My last appointment with Dr. Agatstein as he told me that he was retiring. For the first time since the beginning of my appointments Dr.Agatstein was relaxed, even a smile on his face. Other visits since beginning he seemed very frustrated, unhappy, little grumpy, not a people person. After each vist I always told my wife this man need to retire, always left his office feeling very uncomfortable.
This Doctor was the first time seeing my father in this office he was really rude, unprofessional, and had a disgusting attitude!!!🤮😡 In my opinion since he’s retiring soon, at least that’s what he mentioned to us. He probably didn’t want any new patients or doesn’t want to do his job anymore!! 😠 We were very disappointed with this Doctor.🥺
