I loved the way she looked me in the eyes when we spoke. I appreciated the fact that she wasn’t bothered by my desire to not shake hands. I very much appreciated that she took the time to answer my questions, and while she did put my mind at ease in some areas, I don’t think she sugarcoated anything. I declined a procedure that was recommended because of anxiety, and instead of shaming or pressuring me, she allowed me to take time to think about it, which in all honesty will more than likely get me to do it. Had she tried to make me feel bad about it I probably wouldn’t even have followed up on any of it. I thought she was very beautiful in person, which has nothing to do with her ability to do her job, technically, but it’s easier to take health advice from someone who clearly takes care of themselves. I cried on the way home because the doctor I had seen just days before was one of the worst experiences of my life. And she was so wonderful. 10/10.
