I have had Gastroentoligist’s before from other states, but Erin is by far the best! I have a potentially life threatening condition and she partners with me to find ways to live a highly active life while managing all the complications that come with having a debilitating chronic condition.
My first appt, we had 24 hrs to address severe symptoms so I could fly in a small plane and stay out in a remote village on the icee path of the Iditarod!
She did it and I was out for a week in Ak. without any issues! I drive 30 - 40 min to see her! Sooo worth it!

Dr McCoy was very kind and took her time explaining the results from the procedure. This is the second time she has done the procedure for me. In five years I hope to have her as my Dr again

I loved the way she looked me in the eyes when we spoke. I appreciated the fact that she wasn’t bothered by my desire to not shake hands. I very much appreciated that she took the time to answer my questions, and while she did put my mind at ease in some areas, I don’t think she sugarcoated anything. I declined a procedure that was recommended because of anxiety, and instead of shaming or pressuring me, she allowed me to take time to think about it, which in all honesty will more than likely get me to do it. Had she tried to make me feel bad about it I probably wouldn’t even have followed up on any of it. I thought she was very beautiful in person, which has nothing to do with her ability to do her job, technically, but it’s easier to take health advice from someone who clearly takes care of themselves. I cried on the way home because the doctor I had seen just days before was one of the worst experiences of my life. And she was so wonderful. 10/10.
