“Making medical decisions is not one-sided,” says Dr. Allen. “I enjoy teaching my patients about their health conditions so they can fully participate in choosing a path to wellness. I believe that being actively involved in your health decisions leads to better outcomes because you are invested.”
Outside of work, Dr. Allen and her husband, Chris, enjoy watching their sons play baseball. Her hobbies include birdwatching, playing mahjong with friends, and expressing her creativity through crafting.

Dr. Allen seemed very competent and went over my medications and results of past test as this was my 1st visit with her. Dr. Allen was very pleasant and friendly.
