Erika Mauban, MD

Dr. Erika Mauban, M.D., a Las Vegas native born and raised, is deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. She is fulfilled in serving her home community as a physician, and she expresses an immense gratitude for the patients who entrust her care.

She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science with Honors and Summa Cum Laude distinction. She subsequently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) distinction and with a scholarly concentration in medical education. While studying in Reno, she represented her medical school class as AOA co-president, student health representative, and medical education officer. She performed research on a variety of topics, and was most passionate about researching how physician wellness/burnout and implicit biases impact healthcare. She then completed her OBGYN residency at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL/BJH), where she served as a chief resident, on the education committee, and as wellness chair.

Dr. Mauban cherishes the opportunity to build lasting, meaningful connections with her patients, embracing individuals from all walks of life. She sees herself as their steadfast advocate, committed to delivering thorough, inclusive care. Driven by her belief in patient empowerment through education, she takes joy in demystifying medical concepts, ensuring her patients grasp everything from normal physiology to treatment options. Her goal is to greet every patient with warmth and reassurance, fostering a supportive environment. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of reproductive health, Dr. Mauban keeps herself updated as the field advances.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Mauban is practicing yoga, crafting with her Cricut, working out, playing the piano, walking her dog, or trying new restaurants with her husband.
