Different experience than the first time I visited the office where I felt my child was fully evaluated the first time. This time it was 5 minutes. Going to have to get another Ophthalmologist office. Office mission is not what they serve. Really looking for experienced children specialist.

Dr. Oltra always goes above and beyond. She has an excellent bedside manner and is wonderful with parents and children alike. She is astute at diagnosing conditions that other physicians have missed and careful in referring patients to appropriate sub specialists. She is our absolute go to and we will continue to travel into Manhattan for a visit. She is worth the trip.

Dr. Erica Oltra is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon with a private practice in Manhattan.
She graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Bioengineering and then earned her M.D. from Penn State College of Medicine. After an internship at Harbor UCLA, Dr. Oltra completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Chicago where she was elected to serve as chief resident. Dr. Oltra then pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. She has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and has presented at both national and international meetings.
Prior to joining Pediatric Ophthalmic Consultants, Dr. Oltra served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
