Despite stating I was in lot of pain, medication not called in until the next day only after I called multiple times. Doctor was unwilling to make an advanced appointment for likely procedure despite my time crunch and me moving overseas soon. Previously saw the doctor for similar issue and his answer was give it time. Maybe that was right but now he should change his sense of urgency and level of flexibility.

Waiting for the follow-up MRI scheduling and how long I have to endure the back pain until we really know the cause. He was excellent in providing his thought on diagnosis but nothing could be done to address the pain and weakness in my back and left leg therefore the MRI. Hopefully that will happen soon!

did not go in depth about xrays or mri. did not reciew xray before seeing me where it stated my hip socket is deteriorating
Jul-2024
I left sobbing. He determined by a Quick Look at an X-ray that I had age related wear and tear on my lower spine causing my pain. “Nothing out of the ordinary” he said. That was my diagnosis. Since when do drs no longer examine you? He didn’t check my range of motion or anything else. I can not take any anti inflammatory medication, not even Motrin because it interferes with my blood thinner. So he offered no recommendations for a substitute that might lessen my pain. I asked if a back strap around my lower back might help and he asked “like the ones they wear at Sam’s Club?” I said yes and he said it may weaken my core. I’m 68 that has already happened. So thanks for absolutely nothing. Let me just say that he is not a reflection of the office staff or other drs there. I see three different physicians there and they are all top notch. It is a great practice overall!

Apr-2024
I feel like he didn’t care about what was going on with me he really didn’t take the time to explain all he said was you need to go to physical therapy and I’m going to give you some muscle relaxers never said when he will see me again or anything. I think he was trying to get rid of me to go onto another patient.
Apr-2024
He was in the room with me for less than 3 minutes. He made me feel like my concerns were foolish and he dismissed me without asking for much information. Other than suggesting PT, there was no talk of pain management other than questions I tried to ask.

Would have liked to see my x-rays on a computer size screen.
Having to look at them on the doctor's cell phone was just too small for the untrained eye.
