Best surgeon I could have been placed with. Told me exactly how it was from the beginning, not wanting surgery to start with I tried PT, and chiropractors, etc. Wished I did the surgery 12 months ago so I wouldn’t have spent the better part of a year in chronic pain. Dr. Vess told me surgery was the only fix and now 2 months after surgery I’m in zero pain, life is better than before. I refer all people I meet now to tidewater ortho and if spine is involved Dr. Vess is your man.

He was okay, it seemed like he was dismissive some and I had to push for change in meds and imagining. Id appreciate it if Dr's would stop trying to rush out of the room as soon as they say hi. Slow down and listen to patients, make them feel heard and like you actually care as a dr.
