Eric Monroe Saunders, MD

Dr. Eric Monroe Saunders is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care at Eye Care Associates of New Jersey. With a strong foundation in medical eye care, Dr. Saunders is committed to helping patients maintain lifelong vision health through attentive, individualized care.

Dr. Saunders earned his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine internship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, which included five months of Critical Care experience. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University. Following residency, he received additional hands-on training in LASIK and refractive procedures during a year-long program at Woodhams Eye Clinic in Atlanta.

Since 2017, Dr. Saunders currently assists the New York Giants with their comprehensive eye care. Dedicated to staying current with the latest advances in eye care, Dr. Saunders actively participates in continuing medical education and professional societies to ensure his patients benefit from the most up-to-date clinical practices.
