Wasted trip from White Springs, Fl. to Jacksonville. Spent more time telling me to quit smoking, work on my diabetes, and get my teeth fixed. I know all this. Didn't actually say my meniscus is damaged, (I was the one who said the word meniscus). He did show me the xrays where the right knee is obviously closer to bone on bone but no quite yet. There is damage in my right knee that has CAUSED the Baker's Cyst. Doctor's need to stop treating the symptoms and fix the cause to prevent further symptoms. He wasn't mean or anything but I felt judged because of my appearance. He was more concerned that I smokes, had diabetes (which isn't bad), and that I have broken teeth that I am waiting to get pulled soon. Also, I cannot afford to drive from White Springs to Jacksonville every three months for cortisone shots.
He took time to answer my questions
Listened to me and carefully explained next steps.
Very courteous and helpful
Professional in all aspects. Willingly answers all questions.
