This was my second appointment with him. I had hit a utility pole 1 yr prior,insurance cancelled had a very traumatic time already. First visit I was running 5 min late called office prior, He seemed upset I was 5 min late he was very fast to the point, ordered ct scan therapy I didn’t go to therapy because I felt something was wrong I’m in pain due to my rt hip all the time. Today’s visit concluded he’s a rude Dr. He doesn’t know how to talk to patients and I felt he listens the same not very good. He doesn’t want to replace my hip because he feels I wouldn’t go to my follow up appts etc. If he’d listened he would know I had no health insurance at time of auto accident ,my follow appts from surgery’s were taken place in Chicago I could not find anyone to take me I was fortunate to make it to 3,1 was surgery. Finally got insurance February of this year 2024.

As busy as the office was, everyone was friendly and helpful! Dr Szczesniak is fantastic and answered all my questions so that I understood them. I never felt that I was rushed!!

Everything was fine, except for the receptionist lady made me stand there waiting 10 minutes while she had a personal conversation with a lady. I thought she was very rude.

Very confident and efficient doctor. He is knowledgeable of his work and gets the job done in a timely manner. I will definitely be a return.

Friendly but Dr is too rushed for proper attention to patient. My mother is over 90 & is not quick to respond or comprehend what is being said. Dr did not examine to find where knee pain was & gave shot anywhere. Not targeted care provided. Emily felt around where the pain was.

Didn't address my problem. Just said go to physical therapy and see if that helps. Been there done that. So made up my mind I will live with pain. My husband Hospice Nurse said it's probably nerve damage so I will go with that. Nothing else I can do.

Dr Eric is top notch , He did my wife’s Knee surgery a year ago and she is doing great, mine will have to wait 18 more months till I retire till that time he’s keeping me going with Cortizone shots

Good visit. I went seeking options for knee pain (both knees). I have another appointment for treatments.

Loved the fact that he talked WITH us and NOT AT us. He spoke to us at a level that we could understand everything he was explaining.

Quick follow-up on knee replacement. Plan on doing it this late fall.

Dr. Szczesniak is one of the most caring, talented, and thorough orthopedic surgeons I have ever had. I have had a ridiculous amount of orthopedic surgeries and have had to surgeons in Chicago and Indiana and none of them are as good as Dr. Szczesniak. I would recommend him to anyone.
