Dr. Johnson reviewed my records thoroughly,as I requested a second opinion on post surgery knee pain. He listened to my concerns and expressed his honesty in saying he really doesn’t know exact cause of pain, and reviewed some of possibilities of pain. He also suggested a shot for my hip, as the pain may be coming from there. He was careful to say that may not be the solution but will follow up with me sometime after the shot. Basically, I feel he listened to my issues and gave serious consideration to any solutions.

This was my first appointment prior to a knee replacement. The procedure and recovery were explained in full and I feel comfortable moving ahead with Dr. Johnson as my surgeon.

He seemed to be just going through the motions when talking with me about my condition. Did not give the impression that he cared much & had a “matter of fact” demeanor. Did not show any level of empathy, as I have not seen or spoken to him since he performed my surgery. I’m not even the type that asks for much but I’d probably would have a better visit if I followed up with a different doctor.

Dr. Johnson is a cut above, not just with his ethic and knowledge, but how he talks to you and explains information. His people skills are incredible and his passion for people are second to none. My wife and I will always find our way back to him since his honesty and personality make you feel better!

Dr. Johnson came highly recommended. Meeting him for the first time in the exam room was fine and he was very informative. However, over 1 month later on mysurgery date I did not see him at all. He didn't see me before I went under anesthesia or after. Then on my follow up appointment - I didn't see him then either. The PA was awesome - I hope she stays that way. I am going to assume he actually performed the surgery. Hey docs are busy these days, right? 3 minutes to look me in the eye before surgery should not have been that much of a cut of pay..
